Aucun lot ne sera délivré sans l’acquittement des sommes dues dans leur intégralité.

Dès l'adjudication prononcée, les achats sont sous l'entière responsabilité de l'adjudicataire. L’acquéreur se charge de faire assurer ses acquisitions et la Maison de Ventes BRISCADIEU décline toute responsabilité quant aux dommages que l’objet pourrait encourir dès l’adjudication prononcée.

Les achats sont gardés en dépôt à titre gracieux pendant 12 jours.

Au-delà, des frais de stockage seront facturés :

Bijoux/bibelots : 20 € / mois – Petits meubles : 30 € / mois – Grands meubles : 40 € / mois.

Nous n’effectuons pas d’envoi. Pour les personnes ayant acheté par téléphone, par ordre d’achat ou en live, il conviendra de contacter les sociétés prestataires indiquées sur le bordereau qui se chargeront de l’emballage et de l’expédition.

Les acheteurs sont invités à organiser eux-mêmes le transport de leurs achats si ces conditions ne leur conviennent pas. Le transport s’effectue aux risques et périls de l’adjudicataire, qui se charge de faire assurer ses acquisitions. La Maison de Ventes BRISCADIEU décline toute responsabilité quant aux dommages que l’objet pourrait encourir dès l’adjudication prononcée ou lors du transport, pour quelque raison que ce soit.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

Payment is due immediately after the sale. All the property is sold in the condition in which it is offered for sale. No claim can be accepted after the fall of the hammer. All prospective buyers shall have the opportunity to inspect each lot for sale during the pre-sale exhibition in order to satisfy themselves as to characteristics, size, colours, repairs or restoration. Any possible modifications in the conditions of sale or in the descriptions of the catalog will be announced verbally during the sale and noted on the official report. The successful purchaser will be the highest bidder and will be obliged to give his or her name and address. In case of contesting at the time of awarding, that is if two or more bidders simultaneously carried an equivalent bid, either aloud, or by sign and demand at the same time this object after the pronouncement of the "awarded/adjugé" word, the aforementioned object will immediately be handed in auction to the proposed price by the bidders and the public will be allowed to bid again.

In addition to the hammer price, the buyer shall pay on each lot a buyer’s premium equal to 23% VAT included (19,1667 % VAT not included), of the hammer price.

Payment is due immediately after the sale:

- Bank wire transfer in Euros (BRISCADIEU’s account number on the invoice).

- Credit card: Visa, MasterCard, China Unionpay

- Cash in Euros: for French resident (private or professionals) to an equal or lower amount of € 1 000 per sale (but to an amount of € 15 000 for a non-French resident), bayer’s premium included.

Please note that purchases can only be collected after payment in full.

In the event of non-payment by the successful bidder of the due sum, in the month following the auction sale and after a formal demand remained fruitless, BRISCADIEU BORDEAUX Auction House will begin a procedure of recovering the sum. The buyer will be registered on the file centralized by incident of payment of the SYMEV (www.symev.org) and the total expense will stay at his/her expense. One month after the auction sale, and on the seller’s request, the sale can be cancelled without possible recourse.

ABSENTEE BIDS, BIDDING BY TELEPHONE, AND LIVE BIDS

If you cannot attend the auction, we will be pleased to execute written bids on your behalf. This service is free and confidential. BRISCADIEU BORDEAUX Auction House cannot be held liable for errors or omissions of any kind in the handling of orders. A bidding form can be found at the end of the catalogue. Please fill this form and attach bank account details and a copy of your identity card or passport. BRISCADIEU BORDEAUX Auction House reserves the right not to record an absentee bid if it is not complete or if we consider that the client does not offer all the guarantees for the deals; without any possible recourse. Please ensure that we receive your written bids the day before the auction, 8 pm.

DELIVERY, TRANSPORT & STORAGE FEES

Once the hammer falls, the new buyer becomes the owner and so becomes responsible for the lot. We do not assume any liability for loss or damage to items which may occur after the hammer falls. Please note that purchases can only be collected after payment in full.  

Purchases are stored for free for 12 days.

Past that time, BRISCADIEU BORDEAUX will charge storage fees :

jewels/ornament : 20 € / month – Small piece of furniture : 30 € / month – Big piece of furniture : 40 € / month.

We do not proceed to any shipping.

For people who bought by telephone, via absentee bid or live, items can be sent : for this service, please contact the company mentioned on your invoice which will be in charge of the packaging and the shipment.

Buyers are invited to organize themselves the shipping if they don’t agree with these conditions.
