SACAZE (Julien) Ancient inscriptions from the Pyrenees. Foreword by M. Albert LEBEGUE. Toulouse, Privat, 1892. Large in-8: XII, 1f., 576pp. frontispiece portrait, illustrations in text. Minor scattered spotting at beginning of book. Red morocco signed CHAMPS, richly decorated ribbed spine, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, filleted edges, wide gilt lace inside, gilt edges. A superb copy. Published under the auspices of the Faculty of Letters of Toulouse by the "Bibliothèque Méridionale", of which this work is Volume II of the 2nd series. This author also published an "Épigraphie de Luchon" in 1880 and "Les Tertres Funéraires D'Avezac-Prat", a fine album produced with Piette (Lespy 399-400). Provenance: Printed bookplate Henri Bordes.
