In-4: VIII, 30 double-page astronomical maps depicting constellation figures (mythological figures and zodiac signs), on bluish paper and mitered, 40pp. (J. Bradley's star catalog). Mitered maps. Contemporary fawn granite calf, ornate smooth spine, headband torn off, red title-piece, cold fillet framing the boards, small leather loss at the edge of one board, gilt roulette on the edges, one corner dulled, red edges. Second edition of Flamsteed's Atlas Coelestis and the first French edition, given by the engineer Jean-Nicolas Fortin.
