Jansenism COLONIA (Father de) Dictionary of Jansenist books, or books that promote Jansenism. Antwerp, Verdussen, 1752. 4 volumes in-12 : 2f., XX, 508pp. / 2f., 552pp. / 2f., 504pp. / 2f., 467pp. ; frontispiece. Contemporary marbled fawn basane, accidents to 3 headpieces, spine with decorated bands, red title-pieces, gilt roulette on the edges, rubbing and spotting, red edges. After the death (in 1741) of the author, a Jesuit and professor of rhetoric in Lyon, the work was considerably reworked by P. Patouillet (Caillet, 2500).
