In-4 : 8f., 99pp. illustrated with 42 plates of macabre figures. Contemporary fawn basane, spine decorated, cold fillet framing the boards, minor restorations, gilt roulette on the edges. Matthäus Merian is considered to be the person who made the most complete and reliable representation of the Dance of Death in Basel.
