Morocco leather binding with the coat of arms of Madame Adélaïde [ROYAL ALMANAC] Royal Almanac, 1771. Paris, Le Breton. In-8. Contemporary red morocco leather, smooth spine with decorative embellishments, normal wear and scuffing, large gilt-plate decoration framing Madame Adélaïde’s central coat of arms, gilt scrolls on the edges and inside, corners bumped, blue silk endpapers, gilt edges. Provenance: A copy bearing the coat of arms of Marie-Adélaïde of France (1732–1800), one of the eight daughters of Louis XV and Marie Leszczynska.
