Illustrations of twelve stencil-colored plates by Charles MARTIN, with a preface by NOZIÈRE. - 1914. Illustrations of twelve stencil-colored plates by Georges BARBIER, 2 sonnets and 12 poems by Henri de RÉGNIER. - 1914–1919 (war years). Illustrations of twelve stencil-colored plates by Georges LEPAPE, 12 poems by HENRY-JACQUES. 4 volumes, each printed in an edition of 300 copies on Japanese paper (nos. 201, 205, 98, and 170). In illustrated slipcases with flaps (closing laces missing, a small blemish on one spine, torn flaps in one volume, small pinholes on the covers). Plates and text in excellent condition. The first 4 volumes of this luxurious publication. To be paired with the following lot containing the remainder of this complete 7-volume collection published from 1912 to 1922.
