Geraud. [Bordeaux, Lavigne the Younger, 1818–19]. Quarto; 28 of 32 engravings by Le ROY, hand-colored and mounted on tabs, accompanied by 28 pages of notes. A stain along the margin outside the engravings on plates 22 and 23. Contemporary Bradel-style cardboard binding. Without the gray-blue covers of the individual installments. Album normally complete in 32 plates; 28 are present in this copy. Extremely rare. Occasionally, individual plates from the serialized editions are found, but the complete album is almost never available. The album does not contain a title page; the gray-blue cover of the serialized editions sometimes serves as the title page.
