Pair of carriage pistols, flat-frame flintlock, side-cocking hammer, and round iron pan with spark guard, pan cover spring bent forward, barreled with a 95 mm round muzzle, astragal reinforcement at the muzzle and stepped breech, flat trigger under a cut-iron trigger guard ending in an urn shape at the front, carved stock with an eagle-beak pommel, iron-mounted arms, wear, oxidation, missing parts, mechanisms in need of overhaul, one broken hammer, firing pin and its screw missing for the other hammer, one rod missing, very attractive set requiring restoration, barrel length 210 mm, France, late 18th/early 19th century, category D § e.
