Midnight-blue morocco signed GRUEL, decorated ribbed spine, central gilt mosaic coat of arms, triple gilt fillet with fleur-de-lis spandrels, filleted edges, interior lace, double endpapers, publisher's blue cover preserved, gilt head.
The original edition was Bayonne, Larroulet and St-Jean-de-Luz, Lionnet, 1856. Reworked edition, the appendix appears for the first time (Barbe 421b).
