Jules LELEU (1883-1961) & André LELEU (1907-1995) LELEU House Rare and precious cabinet in rosewood veneer. The suspended body opens at the front with two solid doors at the top and two drawers in the belt surmounted by a wide pull-out. The front corner jambs and the facetted rear legs are underlined with brass fillets and accommodate reception shoes also in brass. The capitals of the front legs, also made of brass, have winding patterns. The belt receives a decorative scroll in patinated brass. Sockets in patinated bronze. The bottom made removable by an original system. Circa 1930. Condition of use, jumps and lacks of veneer, especially in facade. Identical model, made of burr and ivory filets, reproduced on a full-page advertisement in this publication.
