Paris, Guillin, 1767-71. 4 volumes in-4 : 2f, 8pp, XC, 1f, 264pp ; 3f. engraved (including engraved title by Le Mire and Basan) ; 47 plates out of text / VIII, 355pp ; 33 plates / VIII, 360pp ; 37 plates / VIII, 367pp ; 23 plates. A set of 140 hors texte figures drawn by Boucher, Eisen, Gravelot, Leprince, Monnet... engraved by de Launay, Lemire. Light stain in margin of 5 or 6 leaves. Contemporary fawn glazed calf, spine ribbed in grotesque style, black title and endpapers, accidents to 2 headpieces, one jaw split, gilt roulette on margins of boards, on edges and inside, rubbed, gilt edges. A good copy.
