Paris, Le Clere ; Lyon, Rusand ; Daval, 1797. 2 volumes in-8 : 1f., 255pp., (1) / 1f., 258pp., (1) ; illustrated with a folding map of the city and the siege. ½ period tan basane, ornate smooth spines, green title-pieces, tan tomaisons, gilt fillets, yellow edges. A good copy. Attached : MORIN (J.) : Histoire de Lyon depuis la Révolution de 1789. Paris, Furne & Cie ; Lyon, Savy jeune ; Midan, 1845. 3 volumes in-8. Contemporary green basane, smooth spines, cold irons, gilt fillets and title. Good copy. Biased testimony denouncing however the atrocities committed in Lyon during this event which occurred from August 9 to October 9, 1793 following the uprising of Lyon against the National Convention.
