In-16: 676pp, 21f; a woodcut portrait of Loloya Small traces of worms on the first leaves, without affecting the text. A short-margined copy at the head. Old 18th century soft vellum with flaps, short closing straps. Biography of Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556), founder of the Jesuit Order, by Ribadeneira, a Spanish Jesuit, who was received into the Society in 1540 by Ignatius himself.
