Henri HUSSON (1852-1914) (ATTRIBUTED TO) "Stingray with shells". Rare and important decorative cup. Proof in bronze with a shaded brown patina; the background evoking the shaded green sand, the starfish with a red patina. Not signed. L.: 48,5 cm, l.: 38 cm. Provenance: Important collection of Bordeaux around the Art Nouveau. Exhibition and related work : 1900 - Grand Palais, Paris, from March 14 to June 26, 2000. A stingray by Henri Husson, very close to our model but smaller and with inlays of gold parts, was presented during this exhibition under the number 312 of the catalog and reproduced on page 286 of this publication.
