6 parts in one volume in-4: XVI, 90pp. - 1f., 146pp. - 2f., 148pp. - 2f., 144pp. - 2f., 88pp. 16f. (table) - 5f. 132pp. 4 folding maps. Old traces of moisture at edges, a few leaves stained in margins, small reinforcing strip on spine of title page.
Contemporary fawn granite calf, spine ribbed and decorated, red title page, headband missing, jaws cracked, fillet on edges, corners dull, red edges.
The first edition of this very fine work, published in 1755, included only the five parts, each devoted to a campaign.
