DESCARTES (René) Les Principes de la Philosophie, written in Latin and translated into French by one of his friends. Paris, Henry and Nicolas le Gras, 1659. In-4: 27f., 1fb., 477pp. with one plate and numerous figures in the text. Slight light banding at head throughout. Contemporary brown grained calf, spine ribbed and ornamented, head cap frayed, torn at foot, corners dulled, red speckled edges.
