Contract of seigneurial interest between Jacques Coct, lord of Chatelard, les Champs and Montfort and magnificent Alphonse Aynard (de Monteynard), lord of the estate and demoiselle Marguerite Coct.
Reference is made to seigneurial privileges granted by the Dauphins Humbert of Dauphiné. Mention is also made of the grand seigneur de Bayard and the seigneury of Chatelard.
Possibly concerns the natural daughter of knight Pierre du Terrail seigneur de Bayard (1470-1524), whom he had by de-Trecchi de Cantu from an ancient Milanese family, named Jeanne du Terrail and married to François Bocsozel seigneur du Chatelard, whose son Peyraud de Chatelard was beheaded at age 25 for his love of Mary Stuart.
