Set of 15 eighteenth-century folding maps in 4 cases, covering the regions of Blaye (no. 12), Etauliers (no. 13), Castelnau (no. 19), Libourne (no. 20), Certes (no. 26), Bordeaux (no. 27), Belin (no. 33) and Bazas (no. 34).
15 canvas cards, blue silk edging around the edges, accordion-folded, medium format 61x95 cm. All cards are duplicates (?!) except Bordeaux, which has only one copy. Vignette "Desbarrières" (probably a former owner) laminated in the cases and on some of the cards.
Superb contemporary red morocco slipcases, gilt-edged title, fine garland framing all sides, blue silk interiors.
