4 parts in 2 volumes in-4; Illustrated with 288 plates (115 and 173) out of text lithographed by PHILIPPE, GINTRAC, DANDIRAN, LAROQUE, etc. or engraved by DROUYN, 5 of which enhanced with watercolors (freckles in places, light staining in margins of some plates, angular ink stain at head in margins of last plates).
½ green contemporary basane, smooth spines slightly sunned, gilt titles, fillets and tomaisons, one bit cracked at foot entry, rubbing.
This work is complete with its 288 plates. This is rare enough to be highlighted, as most of them are missing. Portraits, details of monuments, but above all an irreplaceable collection of views of towns and villages in the Landes, Gers, Gironde and Lot-et-Garonne regions in the mid-19th century. The views are lively and attractive.
