Contemporary marbled fawn basane, ornate ribbed spines, red title-pieces, headpieces scuffed or torn, small leather tears on spine and boards, gilt fillet on edges, red edges. Copy in used condition.
Partly original second edition of the first scientific voyage around the world by a French navigator, with the third volume, "Journal d'un Voyage de Bank et Solander".
