In-4. Occasional foxing.
Contemporary red chagrin, spine ribbed and decorated, 3 sets of triple intertwined fillets at the corners, gilt roulette on the edges, quadruple gilt fillet inside, green moiré silk endpapers, gilt edges. To be compared with the copy bearing the arms of the Tsar of Russia (Relation de l'expédition de Chine en 1860 by PALLU de LA BARRIÈRE), with a similar binding, presented in the same catalog.
