Publisher's contemporary marbled fawn calf, ornate spine ribbed, red title page, author's monogram in boxes on spine, Gramont coat of arms in center of boards, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, a small epidermure on one board, filleted edges, inner garland, red edges. A very fine copy. A superb copy with a fine provenance on the history of the House of GRAMONT. Provenance: Copy from the de Gramont library (gilded arms, OHR 2162), with printed bookplate from the library of Marquise Corisande de Noailles (granddaughter of the author).
