FRANCOIS SAINT-MAUR. Pau, Vignancour, June 1864. In folio album: IX, 42pp. 1f. 16 plates of portraits and views lithographed by SORRIEU and DEROY, one in color. Edition of 100 copies. Some small spots on the plates, one free. ½ black chagrin, spine ribbed, gilt fillets, black percaline boards, cold geometric decoration, gilt title on upper board, light rubbing. A very rare album. The copies we have seen were all autographed, which suggests that they were all given as gifts. Noteworthy are some unusual views of Billère, Coarraze, Lescar, Morlaàs and Gan (M. Gaston 256)(Labadie 3254)(Soulice 15).
