PYRENEAN ALBUM Pyrenean album. Revue béarnaise. 1st year (1840) and 2nd year (1841). Collection of 24 issues of this rare journal. January 1840 to December 1841. Illustrated with 39 engraved plates, 2 plans and music sheets, 2 facsimiles, all out of text, and a fold-out map of the Pyrénées Atlantiques department. ½ contemporary black chagrin, spines decorated with long Romantic irons, slight rubbing. A rare complete copy, the reuniting of these fascicles is a real challenge.
