A fine unicum much sought-after by bibliophiles, as these copies are very difficult to track down. 12 large in-8 brown paper leaves containing 32 original drawings (pen and pencil, some watercolors) and small handwritten bills in black ink, all mounted. In-8 square paperback, publisher's beige cover. Essentially Pyrenean and devoted to monuments large and small by an artist. "The author took refuge in Argelès-Gazost during the Second World War. This Ducéré from Normandy (1874-1951), member of the Académie des Sciences, Belles-lettres et Arts de Rouen, in addition to important illustrated publications on Normandy, produced manuscripts, which he illustrated with talent. Labarère mentions 3 titles relating to the Pyrenees, 2 of which are in the Musée Pyrénéen. He refers to a booklet by M. Jové entitled: "l'Ecrivain Régionaliste Edmond Spalikowski et son oeuvre manuscrite illustrée" published in Argentan by Éditions du Journal de l'Orne.
