José DOMINGUEZ BERMEJO was a cartoonist specializing in bullfighting themes. From the 1940s onwards, he drew bullfighting pictures for El Noticiero Universal, a Spanish late-afternoon daily published in Barcelona between 1888 and 1985. During its lifetime, it became Barcelona's most influential afternoon paper.
Agustin GARCIA "AGUSTINILLO" was born in Monteagudo (Murcia) on August 28, 1928. His bullfighting life was closely linked to Barcelona, where he made his debut in the Las Arenas bullring in June 1945. It was also in this bullring that he first took part in a spiked novillada on November 1, 1950, and took the alternative on November 1, 1952.
The ceremonial bull from Don José Luis Osborne's ganaderia was called "Separador".
After the alternative, he didn't put on a suit of lights again until December 3, 1955 in Barcelona.
He learned the trade of carpenter. His bullfighting life was always linked to Barcelona. He was an advisor to Barcelona's plaza Monumental.
