Pair of small stained glass, brass and gilt bronze ewer-shaped drinking vessels, the handle with a woman's bust, decorated with winged child's heads and resting on a pedestal with channels and foliage; (the stained glass body replaced at a later date; small accidents). Early 17th century. H : 14 cm These drinking vessels are similar to a number of objects made in Italy in the late 16th or early 17th century. In particular, two small vases from the former Bergé-Saint Laurent collection are very similar in terms of the decoration of the handles, body and pedestal (sale Paris, Christie's, February 23, 2009, lot 506).
