ANDRÉ DERAIN (1880-1954) (AFTER A CREATION BY) - ATELIER ANDRÉ DERAIN "Masque" model created between [1938 and 1954], from an edition of 14, including 4 artist's proofs numbered from 0 to 0000, our proof numbered 000. Sculpture d'applique à suspendre. Proof in bronze with a brown excavation patina. Lost-wax casting. Port mortem edition, reputed to have been made between circa 1958 and 1964. Bears the Atelier André DERAIN label in the bronze on the back and a number 000 also on the back. H. 17.5 cm - W. 14 cm - D. 6.5 cm Public collection and related work : Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, Geneva - The original terra cotta model is held in the collections of this institution.
