ANACREON Anacreon, Sappho, Bion, and Moschus, a new prose translation, followed by *La Veillée des Fêtes de Vénus* and a selection of works by various authors. Paphos and Paris: Le Boucher, 1773. In-8; illustrated with 2 separate plates (including one as a frontispiece), 12 vignettes, and 13 tailpieces by EISEN, engraved by Massard (or Duclos for one separate plate). 19th-century red morocco, ribbed spine, Duseuil-style covers with fleurons in the spandrels, gilt fillet on the edges, interior lace, gilt edges. A lovely edition, the first of Moutonnet’s translation of Clairfons.
