Copy includes a 4-page 8vo letter from the illustrator to René Kieffer. Chocolate-colored morocco leather signed BLANCHETIÈRE, gilt title on ribbed spine, double gilt fillet on edges, original publisher’s cover preserved, double black leather band with central gilt fillet on the inside, chocolate-colored moiré endpapers, double endpapers, gilt edges, slipcase.
