Minor spotting in places. ½ period fawn basane, ornate smooth spines, fawn titles and endpapers, small leather tears at foot on spines of 3 volumes, wear rubs and minor defects. Rare first edition. It was printed in an edition of 500 copies (see the disclaimer on Volume VI, page VI), which were sold.
