Provenance: On the front cover of volume III, signature of Léonard Aurousseau, French orientalist, sinologist, professor of Chinese, historian and archaeologist. He was a member of the École Française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO) from 1911 to 1926, and its director from 1926 to 1929. On spine, gilded initials L. A. (head) and P. E. F. E. O. (foot). Enclosed: - (MOURA (Jean) : Le Royaume du Cambodge. Paris, Leroux, 1883. Volume one only. Large in-8, a few figures in the text, a folding map in fine. ½ red chagrin, gilt title on spine.
